Microrobotics
Mirorobots hold immense potential to revolutionize diverse applications, spanning from micro/nanomanufacturing to the realm of biomedicine. In the context of minimally invasive surgery, these untethered, wirelessly controlled microrobots promise to usher in a new era of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that were previously unimaginable. At the current juncture, we are pioneering the integration of microrobots with biomedical devices, resulting in a series of robotic micromechanical bioelectronics. This integration serves dual purposes. Firstly, biomedical sensors with actuation capabilities expand the sensing modalities and enable on-demand reconfiguration of the performances and functions. Secondly, microrobots with sensing capabilities enhance their precision and versatility in executing intricate tasks within the body.
